On March 19, 2026, ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev officially inaugurated a new educational and practical laboratory for the Department of Transport Construction. The red ribbon was ceremoniously cut by distinguished railway veterans: Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, Honorary Railway Worker K.S. Sambetov, and Honorary Railway Worker K.E. Estemisov.
The ceremony was attended by the senior management and heads of track sections from the “Mainline Network Directorate” (JSC “NC “KTZ”). This new facility is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in studying railway infrastructure. The laboratory marks a significant milestone in enhancing the university’s technical capabilities and fostering collaboration between academia and the railway industry.
