ALT University hosted a guest lecture on “Robot Control Systems” for 1st- and 3rd-year students of the Information Systems (IS) and Software Engineering (SE) educational programs.

The lecture was delivered by Sardor Yuldashev, a technopark employee and former employee of Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan.

During the lecture, students learned about modern approaches to robotic system control, the operating principles of industrial robots, programming techniques, and their applications in production processes. Particular attention was paid to the use of industrial robots in automotive manufacturing, the implementation of robotic technologies, and the automation of modern enterprises.

Students had the opportunity to learn about the practical application of robotic systems in automotive production, discuss current trends in digital technologies, and ask questions to an industry practitioner.

Guest lectures delivered by industry professionals help strengthen students’ professional competencies, develop practical knowledge, and improve their understanding of current trends in robotics, automation, and information technology.

The event contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • SDG 4 — Quality Education — developing students’ professional competencies, acquiring relevant practical knowledge, and engaging with industry representatives.
  • SDG 9 — Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure — introducing students to modern robotic technologies, the use of industrial robots in automotive manufacturing, production process automation, and innovative industrial solutions.
