On March 19, 2026, ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev hosted a formal ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Kuvanchal Estemisovich Estemisov, a veteran of the railway track facilities and an Honorary Railway Worker. The event was attended by heads of track sections from JSC “NC “KTZ” – “Mainline Network Directorate” and the faculty of the Department of Transport Construction.
Mr. Estemisov’s remarkable career began as a trackman at the Ainabulak section and led him to senior leadership roles, including Head of the Shu and Beskol track sections and Head of the Track Service for the Almaty Railway. Having managed the Zhambyl and Almaty regional divisions of the mainline network, his lifelong dedication to the industry serves as a powerful inspiration for students and future engineers.
