On June 4, 2026, an instructional and methodological lesson was held at the university, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Kamilzhan Kasimovich Kurbanov, a teacher at the Institute of Military Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel of the reserve. The event was attended by the university’s leadership, faculty, as well as colleagues and associates of the hero of the day.
During the lesson, the issues of the development of military education and its role in the training of qualified specialists and the mobilization reserve were considered. Special attention was paid to a practical lesson in the discipline “Educational and ideological work” on the organization of cultural and leisure activities in the units. This format contributed to the development of students’ applied skills and professional competencies.
The event is directly related to the UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 “Quality Education”, as it is aimed at improving the quality of student training, building leadership skills and educating responsible citizens.
Following the results of the instructional and methodological training, the participants were awarded certificates, and a cultural program was organized with the participation of students of the Institute of Military Affairs.
