On April 16-17, 2026, the Omsk State University of Railways hosted the All-Russian Scientific and Methodological Conference “Modern Teaching Concepts: Integration of Industrial Experience and New Learning Formats,” dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Omsk history of OmIIT — OmGUPS. This large-scale international event brought together representatives of the academic and professional communities to discuss topical issues in higher and secondary vocational education.
Associate Professor of ALT University, K. S. Mustapayev, addressed the plenary session with a presentation titled “Transformation of Engineering Education in the Context of Digitalization of Transport: Experience of ALT University Named after M. Tynyshpaev.” The main fields of the conference’s agenda included:

Integration of Industrial Experience: implementing real-world requests from major enterprises and industry-specific standards into the educational process;

New Training Formats: deploying digital technologies, remote methodologies, advanced simulators, and gamification in personnel training;

Knowledge Exchange: sharing international and regional best practices in the field of preparing highly qualified, market-ready specialists.
The presentation by Associate Professor K. S. Mustapayev at the plenary session significantly contributed to strengthening scientific and educational ties between Kazakhstan and Russia, in strict accordance with the United Nations SDG 4 — “Quality Education.” The report showcased the strategic aspects of curriculum modernization and structural digital development being implemented at ALT University.
