On April 10, the traditional Job Fair was held at the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University. The event brought together more than 30 representatives of leading companies in the railway, road transport, logistics, and construction sectors, along with senior-year students and university graduates.
The main goal of the fair was to create a platform for direct dialogue between potential employers and future professionals. Participants had a unique opportunity to introduce themselves to companies, learn about current job openings, undergo interviews, and submit their CVs.
Participating companies included JSC «NC «Kazakhstan Temir Zholy», JSC «Kazakhtelecom», JSC «Transtelecom», JSC «KazAvtoZhol», JSC «Alatau Zharyk Company», JSC «Almaty Electric Networks», LLP «Inkryze» (Shin-Line), as well as private design and construction firms such as LLP «Kazdorkproject» and LLP «Kazservice.» Employers presented their projects, shared career prospects, internship programs, and outlined their expectations for young professionals.
Special attention was given to dual education programs, production and pre-graduate internships, which provide students with real-world work experience during their studies.
University President-Rector M.S.Zharmagambetova emphasized the importance of such events for the professional growth of students: «Our goal is not only to provide theoretical knowledge but also to ensure practice-oriented learning. The Job Fair is a step toward successful employment and career development for our students».
Students also noted that the fair helped them better understand market demands and outline their career paths. Many received interview and internship invitations during the event itself.
The Job Fair is another step toward building effective cooperation between the university and industry, aimed at preparing in-demand and competitive specialists.
