On April 7, 2026, ALT University held a practical lesson dedicated to SDG 17: “Partnerships for the Goals.” The session was led by Associate Professor U.B. Adilbayeva, PhD. The primary objective was to demonstrate the crucial role of cooperation in achieving sustainable development.
During the lesson, English was explored as a vital tool for international collaboration within the logistics and transport sectors. Students emphasized that English proficiency facilitates the development of global partnerships and the effective attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals. Thus, language serves not only as a subject of study but as an essential medium for professional communication.
Particular focus was placed on practical assignments related to international trade and environmental initiatives. Students analyzed ongoing projects, discussed fair trade principles, and modeled international agreements. Ultimately, the lesson fostered the development of both language proficiency and a global mindset among future specialists.
