On November 14, the director of LLP “Le Trans,” Evgeny Lebedev, gave a lecture to senior students of the “Transport Logistics” educational program. The topic of the meeting was road freight transport and trends in its development in Kazakhstan.
Evgeny Lebedev is a logistics professional with over ten years of experience. Starting his career as a driver, he went through all career stages and became the head of a company providing transport and forwarding services across the CIS, Europe, and China. During the meeting, Evgeny actively shared his knowledge, educating young specialists.
In his lecture, Evgeny focused on the importance of road freight transport, highlighting its critical role in Kazakhstan’s economy. Thanks to its flexibility and mobility, road transport remains a key link in delivering goods, especially to remote regions. He also discussed Kazakhstan’s geopolitical advantage: its location between Russia and China positions the country as a major logistics hub of global importance, offering broad opportunities for transit transport and international partnerships.
Additionally, Evgeny Lebedev elaborated on the types of vehicles used for freight transport, ranging from standard tarpaulin trucks to specialized refrigerated vehicles and trailers for oversized loads.
At the end of the lecture, Evgeny emphasized the necessity of developing infrastructure, adopting modern technologies, and addressing current challenges to strengthen Kazakhstan’s position in the global logistics arena.
