This is the first educational and production Center in Central Asia, supported by the international logistics company JD.com (Jing Dong) and Urumqi Vocational University.
Here, we provide training and conduct research in the field of intelligent logistics and e-commerce. We will be developing innovative approaches using modern technologies in areas such as warehouse and distribution logistics, and e-commerce.
Today, our faculty is undergoing training and studying the structure of our laboratory.
The main functional capabilities of the laboratory are Warehouse, distribution logistics, digital logistics, and e-commerce:
- Goods receiving and processing zone in the warehouse: sorting cargo and goods using an electronic labeling system.
- Cargo storage; receiving and issuing cargo.
- Conveyor system, transportation, and delivery of goods.
- Maintenance of necessary warehouse documentation.
- Racking / pallet storage of property.
- Mobile electronic carts, automated transportation of goods.
- Goods collection using AGV robots.
- Sorting, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch, with collaborative sorting in the “goods-to-person” smart zone via the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- A computer lab utilizing various information technologies such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), as well as automated systems for inventory management, monitoring, and tracking of goods. Integration of data from various sources: CRM, ERP, web analytics, IoT devices.
