Senior lecturer of the Department of Architectural and Civil Engineering Dauletkhan Naiman conducted a master class on the topic of “Using BIM and 3D modeling” in the discipline “Construction Materials”.
The masterclass discussed the use of rock in construction, provided illustrative examples, and explored the use of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and 3D modeling in building materials. It also explored how they enable digital project lifecycle management, from design to operation. These technologies enable accurate visualization, material volume calculation, simulation, cost optimization, and waste reduction, increasing construction efficiency.
The masterclass was very interesting and engaging.
