On September 19, 2026, students of the School of Business enrolled in the Transport Logistics and Digital Logistics educational programs, accompanied by M. Serik, Assistant Lecturer of the Department of Logistics and Business, took part in a joint hike along the Medeu – Butakovsky Waterfall route.
The hike provided participants not only with an opportunity to spend time outdoors and explore the picturesque surroundings of Almaty, but also helped strengthen team spirit and encourage informal communication among students.
The mountain trails, beautiful autumn landscapes, and Butakovsky Waterfall made the journey especially memorable. For many students, it was their first visit to the waterfall and an opportunity to discover another remarkable natural attraction of their home region.
Throughout the route, the students supported one another, helped each other overcome challenging sections of the trail, communicated, and shared their impressions. The experience allowed them to get to know each other better and feel part of a united team.
Such activities play an important role in student life at ALT University. They contribute to the development of mutual support, teamwork, social engagement, and a healthy lifestyle, while also promoting a responsible attitude toward nature and the environment.
The day left the participants not only with beautiful photographs, but also with shared memories, new experiences, and a genuine sense of student unity.
