April 8, 2026 – As part of the “Digital Nauryz – 2026” project, ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev hosted a cultural and educational event titled “National Values — The Pride of the Nation.” Organized by the Department of Architectural and Construction Engineering (ACE), the evening was dedicated to the revival and promotion of folk traditions.
To awaken a sense of pride in the rich cultural heritage of Kazakhstan by promoting national customs, and to strengthen the values of national identity and unity among students.
Highlights of the Program:
- Echo of Tradition: Students presented a theatrical performance of one of the most significant Kazakh rituals based on respect and kinship — “Qudalar Keluі“ (The Arrival of the In-laws). The participants sincerely conveyed the deep meaning and etiquette of ancestral traditions.
- The “Aq Dastarkhan”: A bountiful white dastarkhan with national delicacies served as a symbol of the Kazakh people’s broad soul and hospitality. This enhanced the atmosphere of warmth and spiritual closeness throughout the event.
- Art and Spirit: The resonant sounds of the dombra and beautiful songs performed by students uplifted the spirit of the festive evening, vividly highlighting the national color.
Alignment with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): This initiative fully aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 3, 4, 11, 15). The integration of quality education and cultural upbringing once again emphasized the importance of preserving the “national code” among the younger generation.
