On February 24, 2026, ALT University organized a high-level guest lecture for senior students in the Energy sector. The event aimed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industrial practice.
The session was led by Igor Pikalov, a senior specialist from “NC “KTZ” JSC. He presented an in-depth analysis of the “Karaganda-Sortirovochnaya” traction substation, covering its infrastructure and maintenance protocols. The interactive format allowed students to engage in a direct Q&A session, discussing practical challenges in energy supply for railway networks.
This initiative highlights the university’s commitment to SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Collaborating with industry leaders like KTZ ensures that our graduates are equipped with up-to-date knowledge and professional competencies.
