On April 28, 2026, a practice-oriented event was held at the university with the participation of 2nd-year students of the Institute of Military Affairs (20 participants).
The training was conducted by Daria Rakhimalievna Shabdenova, Head of the Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health, and was aimed at developing skills critically important for future military professionals.
Training topic:
“Aggression Management, Stress Resilience, and Team Interaction under High-Load Conditions”
Additionally, within the framework of the event, a thematic session titled
“The ‘Holistic Person’ Concept and Mental Health: Balance of Mind and Body” was conducted. The session focused on personal integrity, inner balance, emotional stability, and the relationship between mental health and professional effectiveness.
The training covered:
• mechanisms of aggression and methods of its constructive regulation;
• behavioral strategies in conflict situations;
• self-regulation techniques under stress;
• principles of effective teamwork in a military environment;
• psychological resilience within the concept of a “holistic person”.
The students actively participated in discussions, practical exercises, and case analyses reflecting real-life professional situations.
The event was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of M. Tynyshpayev ALT University and was implemented within the framework of promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in particular:
— SDG 3 “Good Health and Well-being”;
— SDG 4 “Quality Education”;
— SDG 16 “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”.
Such events contribute to the development of a psychologically resilient, responsible, and professionally prepared personality of a future officer.
