On October 22 this year, the XII Youth Forum of Transport workers “KAZLOGISTICS” was held in Almaty on the topic: “Modern multimodal transportation in the context of global changes”. For the twelfth year now, the initiator and ideological inspirer of the forum has been the Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan “KAZLOGISTICS”. Its main purpose is to involve future specialists of the transport industry in the process of forming and familiarizing themselves with the achievements of the transport and logistics industry, as well as assessing the level of knowledge, skills and abilities. The Forum promotes the development of intellectual skills among young people, activates the involvement of students in research activities, allows them to share experiences and successfully demonstrate their innovative developments in solving problematic issues in the transport and logistics industry.
11 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the Youth Forum, such as:
- ALT University named after M.Tynyshpaeva,
- Academy of Civil Aviation,
- Kazakh Automobile and Road Institute named after L.B. Goncharov,
- Almaty Management University (AlmaU),
- Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. I. Satpayev,
- Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi (Kaznu),
- Kazakh-German University (KNU),
- University of International Business (UIB),
- Turan University,
- International Transport and Humanitarian University (MTSU),
- Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNAIU).
As part of the Youth Forum, competitions, a round of blitz questions, speeches and conversations with leading industry experts were held. Summing up, according to the number of points in three stages: -in the competition among the teams, -round of blitz questions: “team members” and -round of blitz questions: “team captains” the places were distributed as follows:
– 1st place – ALT University named after M.Tynyshpaeva,
– 2nd place – Turan University,
– 3rd place – Academy of Civil Aviation.
