On March 19-20, 2026, ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev hosted a Scientific and Production Seminar titled “Jointless Track and Installation of Expansion Joints.” The event brought together senior management and heads of track sections from the “Mainline Network Directorate” (JSC “NC “KTZ”) along with the faculty of the Department of Transport Construction.
The seminar focused on the technical challenges of jointless track maintenance, point-based assessments of artificial structures, and the reporting procedures for track section documentation. A significant portion of the discussion was dedicated to the practical training of ALT University students, ensuring that their internships align with current industrial requirements. This collaboration reinforces the university’s commitment to delivering a practice-oriented education in partnership with Kazakhstan’s national railway operator.
