On March 12, 2026, the Higher attestation commission under the Ministry of science, higher education and innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic officially awarded Kazbek Orazbayev, senior lecturer of the Department of Energy, with a diploma of candidate of technical sciences in specialty 05.14.08 – power stations based on renewable.
Dissertation on “Research and development of practical calculation methods for gravitational-water vortex microHPP”, defended in the Dissertation council D 05.24.705 at the Institute of machine science, automation and geomechanics of the National academy of sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Osh state university and Kyrgyz state technical university named after I. Razzakov under the supervision of doctor of technical sciences, professor, corresponding member of the National academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Alaibek Obozov – this is proof of deep knowledge and scientific maturity. This work is devoted to the development of scientifically based methods for calculating and designing gravitational-water vortex microHPP for power supply to low-energy autonomous consumers, the content of which fully corresponds to the concept of SDG 7 – Low-cost and clean energy.
It should be particularly noted that the developed methods, models, algorithms and research results within the framework of SDG 4 – Quality education have been introduced into the educational process of the Department of Energy in the preparation of bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees in Electric Power Engineering educational program.
