On March 9, an environmental campaign Recycle Birge was held in Almaty at the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace, aimed at promoting a culture of waste segregation and sustainable consumption. The event was attended by environmental professors of the Life Safety cycle — Y.A. Dyusembin, A.K. Imangalieva, and L.N. Bimagambetova, who not only teach environmental disciplines but also consistently apply ecological principles in their daily lives.
Their participation reflects a practice-oriented approach to education: the professors brought pre-sorted household waste, including plastic and paper, for recycling, thereby demonstrating environmentally responsible behavior. The environmental professors regularly support waste separation initiatives and promote sustainable habits, proving that environmental education extends beyond the classroom and becomes a way of life.
