ALT University named after M. Tynyshpaev proudly announces the organization of an important preventive event led by the Head of the Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health, D.R. Shabdenova. In cooperation with Zh.S. Zhetibaeva, Head of the Youth Health Center AQ JOL at City Clinical Polyclinic No.7 in Almaty, on October 30, 2025, a seminar was held at the university for students on the topics: Gambling addiction and computer addiction. Drug addiction, dangers of vapes and electronic cigarettes.
During the seminar, students received comprehensive information on prevention and warning measures. The event was held in a dialogue format, which helped reinforce the acquired knowledge and greatly enhanced the seminar’s effectiveness. These events are conducted within the framework of cooperation and a signed memorandum between the organizations.
ALT University named after M. Tynyshpaev sincerely thanks the directors of institutes, deputy directors for educational work, the director of DVSR, and advisors for their prompt and efficient organization of students for this event. Thanks to their support and attention, the event was held at a high level and successfully achieved its goal – to raise awareness and responsibility among young people regarding health issues.
