On December 18, 2025, the Department of Educational and Social Work organized an important meeting with students titled “Law and Order” as part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) implementation. The event was held with the participation of staff and cadets from the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, named after Makan Esbulatov.
During the meeting, cadets — Ilesbek Bekzhan Nurgaliuly, Kulanbek Ansar Berikuly, Amirgumar Yeraly Asenuly, Shynaly Aizat Bagdatkyzy, and Baltabay Inkar Yerkanatkyzy — shared their experiences with the students. Significant topics were discussed, including:
- Administrative and legal order;
- Crime prevention;
- Increasing legal literacy among youth.
Additionally, detailed information was provided regarding the structure and activities of internal affairs bodies, as well as the specific characteristics of service in the law enforcement sector.
Faculty members from the Department of General Engineering and students from the educational programs “Construction of Highways and Airfields,” “Mechanical Engineering,” and “Rolling Stock Engineering” actively participated in the event. Participants asked questions of interest and exchanged views on the importance of observing legal norms and discipline.
The meeting held great educational, informational, and cognitive value. It served as an important step in increasing the civic engagement of youth, forming a legal culture, and implementing one of the Sustainable Development Goals — strengthening peace, justice, and effective institutions.
