On December 18, 2025, the Department of Social Work and Educational Affairs organized a significant meeting with students on the topic “Law and Order” as part of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event featured the participation of staff and cadets from the M. Esbolatov Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, cadets Ilesbek Bekzhan Nurgaliuly, Kulanbek Ansar Berikuly, Amirgumar Eraly Asenuly, Shynaly Aizat Bagdatkyzy, and Baltabay Inkar Erkanatkyzy shared their experiences with the students. They discussed crucial topics such as administrative and legal order, crime prevention, and enhancing legal literacy among youth. Additionally, comprehensive information was provided regarding the structure and functions of internal affairs bodies, as well as the specifics of careers in the law enforcement sector.
Lecturers from the “General Engineering” department, along with students from the “Construction of Highways and Airfields,” “Mechanical Engineering,” and “Rolling Stock Engineering” educational programs, actively participated and showed great interest in the event. Students asked pressing questions and exchanged views on the importance of legal norms and public order.
The event held significant educational, informational, and cognitive value. It served as an important step towards increasing the civic engagement of young people and shaping a legal culture. Furthermore, it directly supported one of the key directions of the Sustainable Development Goals: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
