On April 2, 2026, as part of Science Month at ALT University, a guest lecture titled “The Linguocultural Code of Kazakh Hospitality” was held in alignment with SDG 4 — Quality Education.
The lecture explored the system of non-verbal signs as a vital component of ethnic communicative culture. Special emphasis was placed on the institution of hospitality as a cultural universal, alongside aspects of non-verbal communication and gastronomic semiotics. The “Dastarkhan” was presented as the central concept of Kazakh gastronomic culture.
