On January 31, 2026, ALT University hosted a strategic meeting with Darkhan Imanashev, Chairman of the Board of NC KazAutoZhol JSC. Accompanied by the Chairwoman of the Board–Rector of ALT University, Meruert Zharmagambetova, and the university’s leadership, representatives of the national company toured the research infrastructure and the educational-production complex.
The highlight of the visit was the official opening of the KazAutoZhol Training Center, established in partnership with ALT University. The new educational space features an interactive map of Kazakhstan’s highways, providing a visual representation of international and national road networks. The Center will serve as a premier hub for training high-caliber engineering personnel and upskilling transport industry specialists.
Darkhan Imanashev held a dedicated session with ALT University students, discussing the development of Kazakhstan’s road sector, modern challenges, and the prospects of transport infrastructure. He shared insights into the company’s operations, highlighted KazAutoZhol’s recent achievements, and engaged in a Q&A session with the students.
In his closing remarks, the Chairman emphasized KazAutoZhol’s commitment to collaboration and the vital importance of practice-oriented education. He praised the professionalism of the university’s leadership and faculty for building a curriculum rooted in real-world application, noting that this approach provides students with fresh momentum and ensures the industry receives highly qualified specialists.
The strategic partnership between KazAutoZhol and ALT University began in October 2024 at the V Eurasian Forum on Transport Safety and Digitalization, where a Memorandum of Cooperation for personnel training was signed. The main goal of this partnership is to develop long-term collaboration in joint educational, scientific-innovative, and research projects, as well as to enhance the quality of specialist training and retraining.
Today, NC KazAutoZhol JSC has already begun implementing its initiatives at ALT University, creating a sustainable platform for the advancement of transport science and industry education in Kazakhstan.
