On January 22, at the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University, the Institute of Transport and Construction and the Department of Architectural and Construction Engineering presented a photo exhibition and art projects dedicated to the protection of nature and rare species of animals and plants, created by students of the AZS, KG, and SPGS educational programs.
The event was held within the framework of SDG 15: “Life on Land” and served as a platform for discussing the integration of ecological approaches and modern technologies in architecture and urban planning. It also inspired students to develop creative and innovative projects for the harmonious development of the urban environment.
The goal of the photo exhibition: to highlight the importance of nature conservation and the protection of rare species, demonstrate the combination of environmental strategies and advanced technologies in architecture and urban design, and inspire students to create sustainable projects for urban development.
The event was attended by the institute’s leadership, faculty members, and students. The organization and implementation of the project were ensured by:
- Murzalina G.B., Head of the Department, who emphasized the importance of integrating Sustainable Development Goals into the educational process;
- Orazbaeva D.A., Senior Lecturer, who presented the concept of the photo exhibition and the role of Artificial Intelligence in creating art projects for the protection of nature and rare species of flora and fauna;
- Moldaganapova A.G., Senior Lecturer, who supervised the students’ creative works.
Participation in the photo exhibition and the creation of art projects contributed to the development of students’ creative and professional skills, expanded their theoretical knowledge in ecology and urban planning, and provided practical mastery of modern technologies-including the use of AI-to harmoniously combine architecture with the protection of nature and endangered species.
