On April 16, 2026, the Department of Transport Services and Business of the Institute of Logistics and Business at ALT University organized a guest lecture under the supervision of Associate Professor Z.K. Bitileuova.
The lecture topic was “Intelligent Systems for Ensuring Safety During Shunting Operations.” The invited speaker was M.N. Aikumbekov, Chief Specialist of TransCom LLP.
During the lecture, issues related to safety assurance in railway shunting operations, the application of modern digital and intelligent systems, and the efficiency of automation in operational processes were discussed. The speaker shared practical experience and presented students with real-life examples from professional practice.
The guest lecture contributed to the development of students’ professional competencies, broadened their knowledge of modern technologies in the transport industry, and strengthened the connection between theory and practice.
