As part of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 4 – “Quality Education” (SDG 4), first-year students of the 6B07199 “Nuclear Power Plants and Installations” educational program at ALT UNIVERSITY named after M. Tynyshpaev took part in the Open Day organized by the Institute of Nuclear Physics.
The event was also attended by students from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (NRNU MEPhI) and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The participation of students from different educational institutions provided an opportunity for professional communication, exchange of experience, and the expansion of educational connections.
During the visit, ALT UNIVERSITY students learned about the activities of the Institute of Nuclear Physics, its research areas, modern technologies, and the prospects for the development of nuclear energy.
For the first-year students, the visit to the Institute was an important part of their career guidance. The students had an opportunity to explore the practical aspects of their future profession, learn more about scientific and professional activities in the nuclear energy sector, and gain a broader understanding of opportunities for further professional development.
