The Department of Science and Innovation is a structural unit of the University. In accordance with the University’s organizational structure, the Department of Science and Innovation is overseen by the Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation.

The activities of the Department of Science and Innovation are aimed at the comprehensive provision and development of scientific and scientific-technical activity of the University. In its work, the department performs organizational, analytical, advisory and coordinating functions, ensuring effective interaction between all departments of the educational institution in the field of scientific research, innovative development and commercialization of results.

Main tasks:

• Assistance to University departments in the implementation of scientific activities and the implementation of research results.
• Improving the scientific level of the teaching staff.
• Organization and support of contractual scientific and technical work.
• Participation in grant competitions and expansion of the number of profitable contracts.
• Organizing and conducting scientific events and advising staff in the field of publication activity.

Main functions:

• Organization and coordination of the University’s scientific activities, including research, contractual projects, reporting and interaction with the expert center.
• Monitoring and support of the University’s participation in competitions and grant programs, including the search for announcements, informing departments and assistance in the preparation of applications.
• Planning and budget management of scientific events and competitions, including financing of business trips, events, reporting and incentives.
• Organization and holding of scientific events – conferences, seminars, trainings, meetings of the Scientific and Technical Council and interaction with members of scientific councils.
• Collection, analysis, and maintenance of scientific information and statistics, including databases, scientometric indicators, teaching staff ratings, and the preparation of analytical materials.
