The STUDENT’S CODE OF HONOR (hereinafter referred to as the “Code”) is a category of ethics, meaning a special moral attitude of a person towards himself and the attitude of society and others towards him, based on the recognition of the value of a person as a person.

A student of JSC “ALiT” is:

• A patriot who perceives the successes of the country and the academy as his own;
• An example of a conscientious and creative attitude to study, striving to master modern technologies;
• A highly educated person, striving for self-improvement, knowing national and world culture, studying foreign languages, respecting the traditions of other peoples;
• A law-abiding citizen with a high level of moral and legal consciousness;
• An active participant in the educational, research, social, cultural, and sports life of the Academy.

NORMS OF THE CODE OF HONOR

ARTICLE 1.
The student of JSC “ALiT” complies with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Charter of JSC “ALiT”, Internal regulations, Rules of residence in the hostel and other regulations of JSC “ALiT”.

ARTICLE 2.
The student of JSC “ALiT” knows and honors the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, national culture, history and statehood of Kazakhstan, carefully preserves and multiplies the traditions of the Academy.

ARTICLE 3.
A student of JSC “ALiT” shows politeness, correctness and attentiveness in communicating with other students, teachers and administration of JSC “ALiT”.

ARTICLE 4.
A student of JSC “ALiT” treats any person with respect, regardless of his origin and nationality, social status, religious or ideological beliefs. 

ARTICLE 5.
The student of JSC “ALiT” strictly fulfills his academic duties, does not allow ethical, academic and legal violations, including:

• plagiarism;
• forgery;
• using cheat sheets, cheating and hints at all stages of different forms of knowledge control;
• using family or service ties to get a higher score;
• corruption;
• cheating the teacher and disrespectful attitude towards him;
• absenteeism and tardiness without a valid reason.

ARTICLE 6.
The student of JSC “ALiT” takes care of the safety of the property of JSC “ALiT” and suppresses vandalism on its territory.

ARTICLE 7.
The student of JSC “ALiT” carefully treats the library and information resources of the academy, not allowing careless or harmful attitude to them.

ARTICLE 8.
The student of JSC “ALIT” looks neat, his appearance corresponds to aesthetic norms.

ARTICLE 9.
The student of JSC “ALiT” leads a healthy lifestyle, strives to improve his cultural, moral and physical level, takes an active part in the socio-cultural, scientific and sports life of the academy.

ARTICLE 10.
A student of JSC “ALiT” should not allow illegal actions both at the academy and outside it.

ARTICLE 11.
A student of JSC “ALiT” should not allow the dissemination of information aimed at destabilizing order in the country, as well as participate in unauthorized meetings, demonstrations, rallies, pickets, actions and processions.

ARTICLE 12.
A student of JSC “ALiT” refrains from participating in any activity contrary to the interests of the academy, damaging the image and reputation of JSC “ALiT”.

ARTICLE 13.
A student of JSC “ALiT”, who has discovered a violation of the provisions of the Code, tries to stop it on his own or notifies the student self-government bodies or the administration about it.

ARTICLE 14.
A student of JSC “ALiT” forms a sense of corporate community, pride in belonging to the student community.
