In December 2025, Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University plans to conduct initial programmatic accreditation of 22 educational programs by the Independent Quality Assurance Agency (IQAA).
The purpose of accreditation is to confirm the compliance of educational programs with established national and international quality standards and to increase trust among students, employers, and the academic community.
Programmatic (specialized) accreditation is a procedure for externally assessing the quality of individual educational programs. It aims to determine the degree to which graduates’ training meets professional requirements and the modern labor market.
Initial accreditation is granted to educational programs that demonstrate potential compliance with IQAA accreditation standards, based on the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance (ESG).
As part of the accreditation process, the IQAA External Expert Group (EEG) will conduct a comprehensive analysis of ALT’s educational programs, reviewing the curricula and facilities, meeting with faculty, students, and employers, and examining organizational and administrative processes.
Program accreditation is an important step in ALT’s development, confirming the high level of educational services, the sustainable development of a scientific and creative environment, and its commitment to international quality standards.
ALT management encourages the entire team—faculty, staff, and students—to actively participate in the preparation process and contribute to the successful completion of accreditation, strengthening ALT’s position as a modern and competitive higher and postgraduate education institution.
