ALT Business Incubator — Mission and Purpose

The ALT Business Incubator was created as an environment where students can progress from an idea to its practical implementation in the context of a real market. Its activities are aimed at fostering technological entrepreneurship, supporting scientific research and engineering creativity among youth, and enhancing the training of future specialists through participation in the creation and implementation of innovations. The incubator also promotes the formation of small high-tech enterprises with the involvement of students and young professionals from the academy.

Strategic Goals of the Business Incubator

1. Create conditions that motivate students, master’s students, and PhD candidates to engage in innovative and project-based activities.
2. Support teams in developing prototypes, working models, experimental equipment, and other demonstrable materials for project presentation.
3. Facilitate the attraction of investments and grants — from scientific organizations, industrial enterprises, business structures, and government funds.
4. Encourage projects to participate in competitions, exhibitions, accelerators, and other events focused on science and innovation.
5. Build a catalog of promising projects with commercialization potential and further development opportunities.
6. Prepare young entrepreneurs capable of operating in the scientific, technical, and engineering sectors.

1. Competitive selection of student scientific and technical developments for placement in the incubator.

Comprehensive educational and consulting services: legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international law, business launch, patent and copyright protection, taxation, investment, financial literacy, and startup management. Participants receive a certificate upon completion of the training program.
3. Organization of internships for students and master’s students at scientific and technical enterprises, including international placements.
