On April 22, SDU University hosted the Republican Student Leaders Forum “New Constitution – Youth,” bringing together active young leaders from across the country.
The forum became an important dialogue platform where new ideas emerge, experiences are shared, and future leaders connect.
Within the framework of the forum, participants:
— attended insightful speeches by experienced and influential speakers,
— took part in practical workshops and training sessions,
— exchanged experiences with fellow student leaders,
— expanded their professional networks through networking opportunities.
The program was based on the “Whole Person” concept by Abai Qunanbaiuly and aimed at the comprehensive development of youth through the principles of “bright mind, warm heart, and strong will.”
Representing our university:
- Sabina Yembergenova — President of the Student Government
- Uldana Abdimanapova — Leader of the “I’m volunteer” organization
- Nurbek Sagidullaev — Student Government activist

During the forum, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, delivered a special video address, expressing support for youth initiatives and emphasizing their role in shaping the country’s future.
The forum also aligns with several United Nations United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:
— Quality Education (SDG 4)
— Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8)
— Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (SDG 16)
This forum became an important step in unlocking the potential of young people and strengthening their role in society. Such platforms contribute to shaping a new generation of leaders and enhancing youth contribution to national development.
