ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev held a meeting with the newly appointed head of the National Center for Road Asset Quality (NCRAQ) Serik Timurovich Imashev. During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation in education, research, and the training of highly qualified specialists for the road infrastructure sector.
As part of the visit, representatives of the university presented the guests with ALT University’s educational and research infrastructure, opportunities for engineering personnel training, and key areas for the development of applied scientific research.
One of the main outcomes of the meeting was an agreement to establish a joint educational and research laboratory at the university. The new laboratory will become a platform for conducting research in materials science, road construction and maintenance technologies, as well as for providing practical training for students and young specialists.
The establishment of the laboratory will unite the university’s scientific potential with the industry expertise of NCRAQ, contributing to the development of applied research and the implementation of modern technologies in the road sector. Special attention will be given to the study of road construction materials, analysis of their performance characteristics, and development of innovative engineering solutions.
“Developing cooperation with industry organizations is one of ALT University’s strategic priorities. The joint laboratory will provide our students and researchers with opportunities to work on real industry challenges, gain practical experience, and participate in scientific projects that are important for the sector,” university representatives noted.
Cooperation with NCRAQ will create new opportunities for training specialists with modern competencies in transport infrastructure, road material quality assessment, and engineering technologies.
The parties agreed to continue joint efforts in developing the laboratory concept, defining research areas, and implementing further educational and scientific projects.
ALT University continues to strengthen partnerships with leading organizations in the transport industry, enhancing the connection between education, science, and the industrial sector.
