On November 24, 2025, a seminar was held at the Department of General Engineering on the topic, “Features of Creating an Open Online Course for the Discipline “Building Physics”.
The event was conducted by ALT Associate Professor K.K. Nurakhmetova and gathered lecturers and specialists interested in the development of online education and teaching methodologies for building physics.
The main goal of the seminar was to discuss the methodology for developing a high-quality online course in “Building Physics” using modern educational technologies, as well as to facilitate the exchange of experience.
During the seminar, the following topics were covered:
- The structure of the online course content and the modular system;
- The use of interactive learning tools;
- The effective application of video lectures and visual materials;
- The system for assessing student achievement;
- Experience working with open online platforms.
The seminar participants shared their experiences and discussed current issues that arise when creating open online courses, as well as ways to solve them.
