Within the framework of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal No. 3 — “Good Health and Well-Being”
On February 4, 2026, a series of seminar-training sessions was organized and conducted for students residing in Student Dormitories No. 2 and No. 4, aimed at strengthening mental health and preventing suicidal behavior among youth.
The seminars addressed the following topics:
“Enhancing the role of the family in society”
“Causes, functions, and forms of suicidal behavior. Suicide risk factors”
“Causes and methods of preventing suicidal behavior among students”
“Prevention of suicidal behavior among students: causes and pathways for prevention”
During the sessions, students:
gained theoretical knowledge about psychological, social, and family risk factors;
developed practical skills in recognizing warning signs and stress-related conditions;
participated in exercises aimed at building emotional resilience, self-support skills, and timely help-seeking behavior;
increased their awareness of mental health preservation and the value of human life.
Such initiatives contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive environment in student dormitories, enhance students’ overall well-being, and promote a culture of care for mental health within the university community.
