On February 26, 2026, ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev held a regular meeting of the Academic Council. The event was marked by a solemn ceremony honoring professionals who have made an invaluable contribution to the development of the transport and communications complex and the educational system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The award ceremony was presided over by the Chairwoman of the Board-Rector, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Meruert Sovetovna Zharmagambetova.
Special emphasis was placed on the development of underground construction and the metro system in Kazakhstan. For their significant contribution to the establishment of the national metro construction industry, the following individuals were awarded the title of «Honorary Professor»:
Muratbay Tankibaevich Ukishebayev – Director of the branch of «Bazis Constructions-basis Metro» LLP;
Muratbek Nagimetovich Kulbayev – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Director of «Metroproject» LLP.
The conferment of these titles underscores the unbreakable bond between the university and industry leaders, as well as the recognition of the merits of practitioners in training a new generation of engineering personnel.
The veteran of ALT University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Erkin Abdurashidovich Isakhanov, was honored with a high award for his long-standing, fruitful work in educating the youth and training highly qualified specialists for the construction industry of Kazakhstan. He was presented with the honorary badge and diploma of «Dankty Kurulysshy» (Distinguished Builder). This award is timed to coincide with the professor’s outstanding achievements in strengthening the construction sector of independent Kazakhstan.
Professor Erkin Almagambetovich Dzhaylaubekov was awarded the «Kurmetti Standarttaushy» (Honored Standardization Specialist) badge from the Republican State Enterprise «KazStandard» for his significant contribution to the development of technical regulation, metrology, and certification. The expert community noted his active role in improving the regulatory framework and implementing new standards that ensure the competitiveness of the national economy.
