ALT University has finalized the results of the open competitive selection for students to study abroad under the 2026 Academic Mobility Program, funded by the republican budget.

In accordance with the decree of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, our university was allocated 2 grant slots. The competition proved to be highly competitive, with applications submitted by 19 top-performing students from various educational tracks.

The committee meeting was chaired by Meruert Zharmagambetova, Chairman of the Board – Rector, and conducted in a hybrid format. In evaluating the contestants, the committee focused not only on academic performance (GPA) and foreign language proficiency, but also examined motivational letters, personal achievements, and interview performance. To ensure an objective and independent evaluation process, external experts were invited to join the committee: B.B. Ramazan, Advisor to the Director of the “Transport Science and Technology” Institute at the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the RK, and S.A. Esmatov, Member of the Almaty City Maslikhat.

🏆 Based on the final evaluation ranking, the committee unanimously declared the following highest-scoring candidates as winners:

  1. Dinmukhamed Melsuly Tursynbay – 1st-year student, “International Logistics” educational program (291 points);
  2. Aruzhan Daniyar – 1st-year student, “Cadastre and Urban Planning” educational program (284 points).

The Department of International Cooperation has already initiated the enrollment and onboarding procedures with the partner host universities abroad.
