On March 4 of the current year, a meaningful and substantial meeting was held in Алматы, bringing together around 300 active students from more than 20 higher education institutions.

The event was organized in an open dialogue format with Akerke Abylaikhankyzy, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Higher and Postgraduate Education under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, participants discussed the significance of the referendum in public life, the strategic role of youth in the country’s future, and other pressing issues. Students freely expressed their opinions and shared their ideas.

The meeting became an important platform demonstrating that the younger generation is not indifferent to the development of the state and feels responsible for the nation’s future. Open exchange of views, fresh ideas, and diverse perspectives highlighted the strong civic engagement of students.

At the end of the event, active young participants were honored, and an award ceremony was held. Smagul Ademi Tileuzhankyzy, a student of group Kg-24-2k and leader of the “ALT Student Alliance,” received a Letter of Appreciation on behalf of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This recognition represents not only a personal achievement but also a reflection of state policy aimed at supporting educated and proactive youth.

The meeting was held within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 16 — “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions,” and became an important step toward strengthening civic responsibility, promoting a culture of open dialogue, and encouraging youth participation in decision-making processes.

The voice of youth is the compass of the nation’s future.
