Within the framework of the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) program, on April 17, 2024, at the Academy of Logistics and Transport, a 1st-year doctoral student of the 8D07160 – Electric Power Engineering Educational Program, Askaruly Mukhit, held a seminar on the results of a scientific internship in Latvia on the topic “Energy efficiency. the experience of Latvia”. At the seminar, he shared his experience of successful implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in the educational process, European experience in implementing new reforms and projects in the renewable energy sector.
The event was attended by the faculty of the Department of Energy, students of the Department of Electric Power Engineering and IT Energy.
- Askaruly acquainted the participants with the advantages of the modern material and technical base of the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Technologies of the Riga Technical University and the ongoing programs of the Riga Energy Agency.
The students were interested in innovations in the career guidance of the STEM Children’s Technical University, implemented at the Futurimo Riga Center.
At the end of the event, the possibilities of international internships and participation in various competitions were discussed with the students.\
We remind you that Askaruli Mukhit became the winner of the competition on the topic of sustainable energy within the framework of the European Union project “Support for sustainable EU Energy ties in Central Asia” (SECCA project). From 11/26/2023 to 12/22/2023, he took part in a training and familiarization event on sustainable energy links organized by SECCA in Latvia.
