As part of an official working visit to the People’s Republic of China, an ALT University delegation visited Zhejiang Industry & Trade Vocational College — a premier public institution for vocational and technical education in Zhejiang Province, located in Wenzhou.
The delegation comprised Meruert Sovetovna Zharmagambetova, Chairman of the Board – Rector of ALT University; Shamil Askarovich Abdreshov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs; Kazbek Naimankaziyevich Orazayev, Senior Lecturer of the “Energy” Department; and Dina Alpysbayevna Smailova, Senior Lecturer of the “Radio Engineering and Telecommunications” Department.
During the visit, the university representatives toured the college’s educational infrastructure, cutting-edge laboratories, and research hubs, gaining insight into their practice-oriented workforce training model. Special emphasis was placed on the integration of education, science, and manufacturing, alongside the institution’s robust synergy with industrial enterprises and employers.
Zhejiang Industry & Trade Vocational College delivers academic curriculums in mechanical engineering, electronics, materials science, information technology, logistics, design, economics, and management. The college is highly regarded for its hands-on learning methodology, cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship, and close alliances with industrial partners.

During the bilateral meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of academic cooperation, knowledge exchange in engineering and technical education, and opportunities for deploying joint educational and scientific research initiatives.
The visit to Zhejiang Industry & Trade Vocational College marks an essential milestone in analyzing global best practices for engineering talent cultivation and further expanding ALT University’s strategic partnerships with educational organizations in the People’s Republic of China.
