The “JAS GALA – 2026” Student Spring Creative Festival, one of the largest cultural projects aimed at supporting youth creativity, has officially concluded in Almaty. On May 23, the grand finale and official award ceremony took place. Held against the beautiful backdrop of Almaty, the evening became a true celebration of talented youth and artistic inspiration. Outstanding participants across various categories were recognized, sharing a total prize fund of 7,500,000 tenge alongside special nominations.
According to the festival results, students of M. Tynyshbayev ALT University achieved exceptional success and secured several top honors:

Sabina Askarovna Embergenova, President of the Student Government, won the highly competitive nomination for the “Best Chairperson for Youth Affairs.”

“ART Dombyra” Dombra Club — 2nd Place.

“Salt Qaganat” Theater Club — 2nd Place.
In addition, activists from the ALT University Student Government volunteered throughout the event, demonstrating an outstanding level of civic engagement. By actively supporting urban initiatives and the “Taza Kazakhstan” national environmental campaign, the university’s youth once again proved their commitment to social and community responsibility.
These achievements mark a significant step toward developing young people’s creative potential, promoting quality education, and preserving cultural values. The initiatives strictly align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 4 — “Quality Education” and SDG 17 — “Partnerships for the Goals.” ALT youth continue to prove themselves as active, innovative, and visionary leaders in every environment.
