As part of the university’s cultural and educational initiative, a guided educational excursion to the Mukhtar Auezov House-Museum was organized for first-year students majoring in “Information Systems” (IS). The primary objective of this visit was to broaden the spiritual and cultural outlook of the future IT professionals, foster their engagement with national literary heritage, and immerse them in the creative legacy of Mukhtar Auezov, a towering figure in Kazakh literature.
During the immersive tour, the students explored the museum’s comprehensive exhibitions, acquiring detailed knowledge about the writer’s life journey, his distinguished scientific and pedagogical activities, and his masterworks. Furthermore, the first-year students examined invaluable historical documents, authentic manuscripts, rare photographs, and personal belongings carefully preserved within the museum’s archives.
This cultural excursion provided the tech students with a unique perspective on Mukhtar Auezov’s monumental contributions to the evolution of Kazakh literature, linguistics, and national identity, emphasizing the vital importance of cultural awareness in modern professional education.
