On May 21, 2026, the Head of the Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health at ALT University, Daria Rakhimalievna Shabdenova, organized and conducted a series of training sessions for advisors and international students in the coworking space.
A training session titled “Women’s Leadership in Mentorship: Strong Support Without Pressure” was held for advisors. Concurrently, within the framework of the SDGs and the Equality & Inclusion Policy, international students participated in a session titled “Tolerance in Communication” — ALT Connect: Tolerance as a Communication Style.
The training sessions incorporated cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques, including working with negative beliefs, exploring behavior in various situations, restructuring automatic thoughts through behavior, and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of different communication patterns.
Participants received practical tools for respectful communication, developing emotional resilience, supporting students without pressure, preventing conflicts, and fostering an inclusive educational environment.
