Within the framework of cooperation between the university and JSC “NC “KTZ”, specialized student teams have been formed to perform engineering and geodetic works, operating along the railway sections of the Kyzylorda, Karaganda, and Semey regions. Currently, students are executing geodetic surveying of railway tracks, stations, and intervals, participating in infrastructure assessments and primary data collection for subsequent cameral processing.
A total of 44 representatives from ALT University have been deployed to the internship, including 36 students and 8 faculty members serving as supervisors of the student teams. Additionally, a segment of the student detachment is conducting cameral operations in the city of Astana, processing field measurement results and preparing technical documentation.
Throughout the internship, trainees operate advanced geodetic equipment, acquire engineering survey skills under real-world industrial conditions, and familiarize themselves with the technological processes of the railway industry.
The paid internship allows students not only to gain professional experience and consolidate their theoretical knowledge but also to obtain their first work experience at the major infrastructure sites of the country.
