On September 10, 2026, senior lecturer of the Department of “YAP” S.A. Aliyeva held a lesson on the theme “Day of Languages of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A. Baitursynov” within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals” No. 4. in the museum of A. Baitursynov.
Senior lecturer of the department of “YAP” S. A. Aliyeva, holding this event, spoke about the ways of development of the Kazakh language and the role of A. Baitursynov, who made a great contribution to its development.
He adapted the Arabic script to the sound system of the Kazakh language, and also created the alphabet “Tote jazu”. This opened the door for rapid literacy of the population in their native language.
Terminology of Kazakh linguistics: formed the first scientific system of scientific terms and grammatical concepts in the Kazakh language.
Theory of literature: through his work “Adebiet tanytk” he laid the theoretical foundation of Kazakh literary studies and made a great contribution to the enrichment of the literary language.
Purity and position of language: he proposed deep scientific conclusions that “knowledge should be given in the native language, writing should correspond to the nature of the language.”
As a result, it can be concluded that this event expanded students’ knowledge of Sustainable Development Goals, expanded their knowledge of the Kazakh language and the role of A. Baitursynov, and increased respect for the language.
