ALT University named after M. Tynyshpayev has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Almatygenplan Research Institute LLP, aimed at strengthening collaboration in education, research, and the training of highly qualified specialists.
The signing of the memorandum marks an important milestone in establishing a long-term partnership between the University and one of Kazakhstan’s leading organizations in urban planning, territorial development, and architectural design.
Almatygenplan Research Institute is a leading scientific and design organization specializing in urban planning. The Institute develops master plans for cities and settlements, detailed planning projects, integrated territorial development schemes, transportation infrastructure projects, and engineering utility systems. It also plays a significant role in implementing sustainable urban development concepts through the application of modern digital technologies and geographic information systems (GIS).
Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate in several strategic areas. These include organizing industrial and pre-graduation internships for students, implementing dual education programs, supporting graduate employment, conducting joint research projects, and organizing seminars, workshops, and guest lectures delivered by the Institute’s leading experts.
The partnership also provides opportunities for knowledge exchange, employer participation in the improvement of academic programs, and the implementation of joint initiatives in digital urban planning, transport modeling, geodesy, geoinformation technologies, architecture, and territorial planning.
Cooperation with Almatygenplan Research Institute will provide ALT University students with valuable opportunities to gain practical experience, participate in real-world urban development projects, and develop professional competencies under the guidance of industry experts.
The signing of the memorandum reflects ALT University’s commitment to expanding cooperation with leading enterprises and research organizations while promoting practice-oriented education and preparing highly competitive professionals for the modern labor market.
