Representatives of ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpaev visited Asfaltobeton-1. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in training qualified personnel for the road construction industry and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to the development of practice-oriented education, strengthening cooperation between the university and industrial enterprises, and developing students’ professional competencies in line with the current needs of the industry.
The parties identified several promising areas of cooperation:
- Organization of industrial internships for students. The parties discussed opportunities for students to undertake internships at the company, gaining practical experience in asphalt concrete mixture production processes, material quality control, and the organization of road construction works.
- Introduction of dual education elements. The discussions focused on combining theoretical education at the university with practical training at the production site, as well as involving company specialists in developing the professional skills of future engineers.
- Establishment of a joint laboratory. The parties considered the possibility of establishing a laboratory in the future to conduct practical classes, study the properties of road construction materials, and familiarize students with modern technologies for asphalt concrete production and quality control.
- Development of a joint industry-oriented educational programme. The parties discussed prospects for developing an educational programme with the participation of company representatives, taking into account industrial requirements and current challenges in the road construction sector.
The signing of the memorandum marks an important step towards establishing a long-term partnership focused on integrating education and industry. The implementation of the proposed initiatives will expand opportunities for students to gain practical experience, strengthen employer involvement in the educational process, and support the training of highly qualified professionals for the industry.
