As part of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 9 (SDG 9) – “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure” and Sustainable Development Goal 17 (SDG 17) – “Partnerships for the Goals,” a guest lecture featuring representatives of the international IT company Colvir Software Solutions was held at ALT University on October 28, 2026. The event aimed to develop students’ professional competencies, introduce them to modern digital and banking technologies, strengthen cooperation between the university and the IT industry, and expand opportunities for practice-oriented education and the training of competitive specialists in information technology and FinTech.
The guest speakers were Azamat Sadyrbayev, Head of the Colvir Training Center, and Gulnara Abisheva, Business Process Development Manager.
During the meeting, students learned about the company’s activities, modern banking information systems, digital technologies, and the development prospects of the FinTech industry.
Special attention was given to the educational opportunities offered by the Colvir Training Center, including online courses, interactive training simulators, practical training, and professional development programs for IT specialists.
The guest lecture served as an important platform for exchanging knowledge and experience between IT industry representatives and students, contributing to the development of professional competencies and strengthening cooperation between the university and employers.
