On September 12, M. Tynyshpayev ALT University hosted a working meeting with curators and career guidance counselors from the HISTORIKA Educational Center.

Choosing a future profession begins long before submitting applications to a university. At this stage, the role of specialists who work with high school students daily, understand their interests, and help them navigate the wide array of educational pathways is exceptionally vital.

The dialogue between representatives of ALT University and HISTORIKA focused precisely on strategic career orientation. Participants were presented with an in-depth overview of the university, its academic degree programs, specialized fields of study, enrolment procedures, and campus opportunities available to students.

A dedicated session addressed strategies for building effective career orientation frameworks for high schoolers — ranging from building foundational career awareness to selecting specific majors and educational trajectories. Practical questions took center stage: how to engage students, key factors to consider when choosing a field of study, and the pivotal role curators and guidance counselors play in this journey.

For ALT University, active engagement with the professional career counseling community forms an essential part of outreach for prospective students. These experts serve as a key bridge connecting high school students, their career interests, and future higher education opportunities.

The meeting also provided a collaborative platform to exchange best practices and outline future avenues of cooperation. Combining the academic expertise of the university with the practical insights of the educational center enables the creation of a robust support system for students navigating career and university selection.

ALT University extends its sincere gratitude to the HISTORIKA team for a constructive dialogue and their dedication to advancing joint career guidance initiatives. We are confident that this partnership will empower more students to make informed, conscious career choices with a clear vision of their future potential.
