On June 4, a meeting was held in Astana between the leadership of ALT University and Madiyar Sattybayev, CEO of Integra Construction KZ LLP. The university was represented by Meruert Zharmagambetova, Chairman of the Board – Rector of ALT University, and Andrey Ivanov, Vice-Rector for Corporate and Social Development.
Integra Construction KZ specializes in projects within transport infrastructure, road construction, engineering networks, as well as industrial and civil construction. Over its years of operation, the company has evolved from a railway-focused enterprise into one of the prominent players in Kazakhstan’s construction market.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues regarding specialist training for infrastructure sectors, the advancement of practice-oriented learning, and opportunities for employer engagement in the educational process. Special attention was given to the prospects of joint projects, expanding industrial internships, and developing a workforce tailored to the current demands of the industry.
For ALT University, collaboration with the country’s leading enterprises is a core component of its educational model. This approach aligns academic training with real-world production processes, significantly boosting the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market.
