JSC Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University and KEGOC JSC have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, marking a new stage in their partnership aimed at advancing education, research, and the preparation of highly qualified professionals for Kazakhstan’s electric power industry.
Until now, cooperation between ALT University and KEGOC had primarily focused on organizing industrial and pre-graduation internships for students. Through these internships, students gained valuable hands-on experience at the company’s facilities and became familiar with modern technologies used in the operation and management of the national power grid.
The newly signed Memorandum significantly broadens the scope of cooperation. It provides a framework for implementing joint educational and research projects, promoting dual education, organizing internships and professional training, delivering guest lectures and master classes by KEGOC experts, and supporting graduate employment.
The parties also intend to strengthen collaboration in developing practice-oriented education, enhancing academic programs in line with industry needs, supporting innovation, and jointly organizing conferences, seminars, and other professional events.
The expanded partnership with KEGOC represents another important step in strengthening ALT University’s cooperation with leading national employers and contributes to the development of a new generation of highly qualified engineering professionals capable of meeting the evolving demands of Kazakhstan’s electric power sector.
