On April 16, ALT University hosted a Creative Olympiad organized in partnership with the “Suret Design” educational center, which specializes in creative preparation for the UNT.
The event was designed for applicants planning to enroll in the “B073 – Architecture” educational program. The Olympiad served as a platform to identify talented and artistically gifted graduates interested in architecture, design, and visual arts.
The competition saw the participation of 50 students in an offline format and more than 250 participants online. As part of the competitive task, future applicants were asked to draw a plaster rosette, a standard element of the creative entrance exam. This task allowed judges to evaluate the participants’ levels of academic drawing, spatial reasoning, attention to detail, and overall artistic training.
The organizers noted the high level of preparation among the participants, as well as a strong interest from school students in creative and architectural fields. For many applicants, the Olympiad provided an opportunity not only to test their skills under conditions close to actual entrance exams but also to experience the university’s academic environment.
Based on the results of the Olympiad, one educational grant from the Chairman of the Board – Rector of ALT University will be awarded to a top participant for full tuition in the “B073 – Architecture” program.
The university emphasized that supporting talented youth and creating opportunities to unlock students’ creative potential is a core element of ALT University’s educational policy. The institution actively develops programs related to architecture, design, engineering, and modern creative industries, establishing all the necessary conditions to train a competitive generation of future professionals.
Hosting such Olympiads contributes to early career guidance for school students, fosters a deeper interest in architecture, and helps build a strong creative community among future students.
